CAMPUS PARKING INFORMATION

The Nationals Drill Camp is classified as a 3rd Party Camp on the campus of Texas A&M University. It will be held primarily in and around the area of the Corps of Cadets billeting and activity areas. Vehicle parking during the camp will be handled under the regulations of the TAMU Transportation Services Department. All Nationals Drill Camp attendees or parents who are planning on driving to this Summer Camp who wish to park on campus need to purchase a Summer Camp permit OR pay to park in visitor parking garages. These garages can be quite expensive for stays longer than a few hours. Here is the General Information page regarding parking.

The initial camp drop-off processing center, as well as the camp check-out processing center are located at the Saunders Corps Center. Parents driving campers who are looking to pull-up, drop off cadets and their belongings without leaving their vehicle without leaving their vehicle may do just that. Those parents looking to leave their vehicle and come inside with their son or daughter should strongly consider using the adjacent University Center Parking Garage, located just to the West of the Saunders Corps Center. Those looking to see the location of these facilities may use the campus parking maps.

The Summer Camp permit allows attendees to park in the lots as designated on the map and are generally used for extended stays (instructors, cadets who are driving themselves, etc.). The parking lots listed as 40a, 40b, 40c and 40d are 1/3 mile Southeast of the Saunders Corps Center and will provide the easiest access for all attendees. Please go to the campus parking maps that will designate where you may park (NOTE: Click the link CAMPUS LOCATIONS - AGGIE MAP and type in SAUNDERS CORPS CENTER in the top right area and this interactive map will highlight this location for you!).

For parents needing to park for the opening night dinner or the closing-night dinner, a Temporary Visitor Pass may be the best way to go or simply park in the Northside Parking Garage adjacent to the Sbisa Dining Hall (Sbisa Dining Hall and the Northside Parking Garage can be found on the campus parking maps that will designate where you may park (NOTE: Click the link CAMPUS LOCATIONS - AGGIE MAP and type in either facility in the top right area and this interactive map will highlight this location for you!).

The cost for a Summer Camp permit is $12 and it will be valid throughout the entire week of the Nationals Summer Camp. All permits must be purchased online only through a very simple process. Here is the link to purchase your SUMMER CAMP PARKING PERMIT. On this site, simply scroll down to the "VENDORS, CONTRACTORS, VISITORS & OTHERS" section, and click on "Request a loginID for nonaffiliates".
