Welcome to the NYFC Cheerleading Championships! First, I would like to congratulate you for your efforts on behalf of your cheer squad throughout the year! Youth cheerleading is an activity that is just character building as youth football for the youngsters that participate. It provides lifetime positive memories, many of which I personally still carry around to this day!

I have personally been involved with this competition now for over 25 years. Another person in our office not only works on the NYFC Cheerleading Championships now, but she competed within the event in her youth on a squad from Lake Zurich, Illinois for several years. We take great pride in hosting this event in a first-class manner and I believe you will notice the many extras that we include to make this special for your youngsters and coaches alike.
The event is held within an 8,000 seat arena that is first class in event way! The Ocean Center Arena is an amazing facility with plenty of easy access parking, full, rich house sound, great lighting, and comfortable raised seating to see the competition in a relaxed way throughout the day. The event maintains an official videographer that professionally shoots every squad performance and projects these images onto a huge 350 sq. ft. overhead screen to give the youngsters the feel of competing on the biggest stage of their lives! We use professional quality cheer mats to create a flawless competition floor, as well as provide a runway practice area backstage to allow the girls the ability to prepare for their big moment (with medical personel on site should the need arise). Then, Sports Network International works with several professional NFL cheer squads to obtain cheerleadeers with extensive backgrounds in cheerleading at many levels to serve as both judges and role models for the cheer performers. These judges not only score the event, but do autographs and photos with the performers, giving them a big-time feel unmatched by simply "gymnasium competitions" that are held everywhere around this country!
Each year, thousands of squads look for a fun, safe, and exciting way to end their football season that the kids, coaches and parents will remember. For many, simply competing back home against the same teams you have seen for years is enough but is just not the end-of-season experience they are looking for.
