The Volusia County Military Salute Weekend (VCMSW) will feature both the National High School Drill Team Championships, as well as several internationall known professional drill & ceremony units. The current listing of these special performance units can be found at the main page for the VCMSW.
The entire event maintains a "closed-door" policy and is not open to the general walk-in traffic from the public. A ticket will be required for entry during all facets of the weekend, to include the NHSDTC event awards ceremony(s) on Friday & Sunday evenings. These tickets will be available at the entry of the facility each day of the competition. The cost of these tickets will be just $5 and they will provide unlimited entry throughout the day for all activities.
Those individuals 13 yrs. old and up will be required to purchase a ticket to gain entry into the Ocean Center. Children 12 yrs. old and younger will be granted admission into the Ocean Center at no charge so long as they are attending with an adult. The only requirement that we ask of spectators is as follows:
Due to overwhelming demand, SNI has produced these internet documents to better allow those looking to attend as spectators ease in preparation and then attending the event. Many entire JROTC programs are planning to attend looking to improve their drill team or just to watch some of the finest armed and unarmed drill teams in the world. Whatever your reason for attending, we welcome you to the finest JROTC military competition held anywhere in the free world!
