National Youth Football Championships

The NYFC has a basic Schedule of Events that lends itself to several situations where product or service displays relating to youth sports are well received by all attendees. Because of the enormity of the competition and the desire to play the games at high caliber football venues (not just open fields), the actual football games are played at 6 to 7 different locations throughout Volusia County (one of the largest counties in the state of Florida). Therefore, vendors who believe they can be at all of the games to display or offer a service quickly realize they cannot be accomodated. It rarely makes financial sense for any vendor to spread out to so many different venues for three days of football.

VENDOR LOCATION
However, Sports Network International (SNI) as event managers of the NYFC welcome vendors during several events where enormous crowds gather in one location, the Ocean Center Arena & Conference Center.The Ocean Center is designed as a natural funnel effect - guiding all people entering the building through the expansive lobby where all of the vendor booths are stationed. This is a wonderful method to allow all attendees easy access to the information and materials put forth by the vendors of the NYFC.

VENDOR DATES/TIMES
Vendor activity usually occur during the three times that large groups of attends from the NYFC get together at the event. These include NYFC Event Registration, NYFC Cheerleading Championships, and the NYFC Awards Ceremony

• EVENT REGISTRATION: On Tuesday & Wednesday immediately preceeding Thanksgiving Day, all football teams and cheer squads must come to the Ocean Center to ensure their event paperwork is up to date, they received their team package items (shirts, medallions, patches), have their team pictures taken, as well as have their football team weighed-in and certified for play. The EAST lobby area of the Ocean Center is where all traffic passes to enter & exit the building and that is where our vendors are set-up. Estimated total attendance both days combined: 2,750 to 3,250 people. Doors open to the attendees from 12 noon to 7:00pm on Tuesday and 9:00am to 9:00pm on Wednesday.
• CHEERLEADING COMPETITION: Held on Friday at the Ocean Center Arena the day after Thanksgiving. All cheer squads attend the event and compete throughout the day and early evening. The WEST lobby area of the Ocean Center is where all traffic passes to enter & exit the building and that is where our vendors are set-up. Doors open to the attendees at 8:30am and the ceremony starts at 9:30am and should end at roughly 6:00pm. (time subject to modifation). Estimated total attendance: 1,500 people to 1,700 people.
• CLOSING-NIGHT AWARDS CEREMONY: Held on Saturday evening at the Ocean Center Arena the day after Thanksgiving. All football teams, cheer squads, parents, coaches...most EVERYONE ATTENDS! The WEST lobby area of the Ocean Center is where all traffic passes to enter & exit the building and that is where our vendors are set-up. Doors open to the attendees at 7:45pm and the ceremony starts at 8:30pm. The ceremony is very fun, maintaining NFL cheerleaders, a 15' x 20' video screen for game/cheer highlights, as well as the presentation fo all trophies for the event. The ceremony continues until 10:45pm when the final trophies are distributed. Estimated total attendance: 3,750 people to 4,000 people.

IN CLOSING
A VERY LIMITED NUMBER OF VENDOR SPACES ARE MADE AVAILABLE EACH YEAR FOR THE NYFC. Vendor spaces are granted exclusively based on the perceived importance each vendor will have to the cadets/parents/instructors of the Nationals. SNI will carefully review all Vendor Applications and accept the largest number we can. FILLING OUT A VENDOR APPLICATION AND SUBMITTING THIS TO SNI IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF ACCEPTANCE! A few quality groups each year are unfortunately not able to attend due to either: 1)space limitations; 2)the booth sells a product or service that is already provided by SNI; or 3)the booth does not meet the standards that would justify inclusion into this prestigious event.
