Welcome to the official website of the "Navy Nationals"... 2008 NJROTC Nationals Academics, Athletics & Drill Championships Friday-Saturday, April 4th-5th, 2008 NAS Pensacola, Florida Supported By: Naval JROTC NAS Pensacola, Florida Navy League of the United States GENERAL INFO on the NJROTC NATIONALS The NJROTC Nationals remain the most comprehensive test of overall JROTC training and performance in existence today. This year, many of the nation's finest NJROTC units from each of the eleven Navy Areas will make themselves a part of this exciting, two-day academic, athletic and drill competition. No competition in the world of JROTC provides a better test of all-around program quality and esprit-de-corps than the "Navy Nationals" All Navy units are eligible to attend this event. Schools selected to attend are nominated and confirmed by Area Managers, usually based on top finishes at Area Level competitions with similar rules and guidelines. It is our hope that all Navy JROTC schools looking to compete among the best schools in the Nation will make themselves a part of the upcoming "Navy Nationals" competition. It is something the attending cadets and their families will not soon forget. The upcoming Navy Nationals event will mark another new era. The upcoming Navy Nationals event looks to be the fairest and most competitive in the history of the competition. Also, to increase information available and response time for the attending schools, all vital paperwork necessary to attend the event will be posted on this website under the PAPERWORK HQ link. Streamlining the event and posting all needed documents to the website rather than utilizing the slow and expensive process of land mail should give all interested schools the ability to react quicker, as well as better plan & prepare to attend this world-class event.
