The Eastern Championships are headed South to the Macon Centreplex in cozy Macon, Georgia!
General Info on the Eastern Championships:
The U.S. Army Cadet Command Eastern Championships without question maintain the largest group of dedicated drillers ever to be amassed in one location! As an inaugural event back in 2004, YEARS of planning and preparation have been undertaken to produce both an Eastern and Western Championship competition. The "Army Nationals" as it has affectionately become known, has been designed to provide a first-class platform for all Army JROTC drill cadets to showcase their years of work as this will be the "Super Bowl of Army JROTC"!
Sports Network International looks very forward to working with U.S. Army Cadet Command, as well as the corresponding Brigade commands, as well as other instrumental groups that work hard to make the event a success every year for the cadets. The "Army Nationals" annually provide over 2,000 young Army drillers the ability to compete amongst their peers. Those that have competed in this event previously will attest to the awesome nature and standing this competition has within the world of competition drill & ceremony.
The Eastern Championships will be held at the Macon Centreplex, located just 55 minutes south of Atlanta, Georgia in Macon, Georgia. Configured for a military drill competition, the venue will maintain comfortable, fixed seating for roughly 5,000 people with the bleachers pushed in for the event. This site will be one of the most impressive facilities many attending cadets will ever have the priviledge to drill within!
Ample parking, clean, unobstructed sight lines, solid concrete floors and hundreds of other details regarding the competition are maintained within the official Army Nationals Invitation that all interested schools are encouraged to study to gain an overall knowledge of the competition (NOTE: this document is posted on-line every year in mid-September for the upcoming competition the following calendar year. Other documents are left on-line to allow schools to review previous materials.)

Push yourself to be a better... NATIONALS DRILL CAMP! It could shape your JROTC career forever!
Knowing that virtually all schools will need hotel accomodations, plenty of hotels all very near the competition site have been contracted and are ready to provide very reasonable billets for competitors and spectators alike. Simply click on the "ARMY NATIONALS HOTELS" link and identify yourselves as specified by each hotel. (NOTE: Schools are encouraged NOT to make hotel reservations until their entry into the event has been received and accepted).
