Welcome to all Raider JROTC Cadets, Instructors & Parents:

SIMPLY AN AMAZING COLLECTION OF RAIDER EXCELLENCE! The National Raider Challenge Championships continue to lead the way in showcasing many of the finest, most hard working JROTC Raider teams in the nation. The Raider Nationals competition field annually attracts most of the best Male, Female and Mixed Raider teams in the country. The Raider National Championships were never designed to be the LARGEST Raider competition held anywhere in the world, but years of excellence have continued to make this event both the largest two-day event anywhere, but even better, it has quickly become the home of the FINEST and annually filled with the MOST TALENTED Raider teams anywhere in th ever-expanding Raider universe!

Over 80 teams and 1,100 cadets packed the competition site and from morning to night at the most recent event and raider excellence was everywhere! Special thanks to all the teams who gave great effort and much needed feedback to make the upcoming event even BETTER! Complete top to bottom scoring reports are now posted and team photos, as well as awards pictures are located on the Photoreflect Homepage. More action photos have been posted on the official Raider Nationals Facebook Page.

The Gerald Lawhorn Scouting Base continues to serve as the gracious host for this championship event. Weather is the same every year....crisp and chilly in the morning followed by jacket-stripping-off warmth in the afternoon! The Lawhorn Sgouting facility remains the premiere Raider facility in the Eastern United States for reasons almost too numerous to count. Between the fantastic facility, the sponsorship and support of PTT start both the Georgia National Guard, and the motivated parents, instructors and cadets, the Raider National Championships continue to give all who attend a special, big-time feel that can only be generated when the best Male, Female and Mixed teams from across the United States come out to participate!

THE DATE & LOCATION IS SET AND HISTORY WILL BE MADE! The National Raider Challenge Championships continue to make history every year. Over 2,500 parents, instructors and cadets took part in this challenging test of leadership, athletics and teamwork! For those who make themselves a part of this event, your support of these tremendous young men and women help to make the Raider Nationals the special place it has quickly become!

Because of the unique raider nationals competition structure allowing a shotgun start and southern extended daylight, roughly 80 Raider teams can be accepted to compete each year. Last year, several teams were "shut out" as the event filled rather quickly. IF YOUR SCHOOL IS PLANNING TO ATTEND, READ THROUGH THE SITE AND CLICK THE REGISTER BUTTON ON THE TOP OF THE PAGE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! By rewarding those schools who plan early and make the effort to register and complete required money and paperwork issues, the competition field is always well-prepared, spirited and highly motivated.

The upcoming National Raider Challenge Championships are ready for teams from across the United States to compete. Last year, scores of Raider JROTC teams attended this event, making it without parallel regarding both size and quality. The variety of events, coupled with the first-class surrounds, make this eventvery highly sought after in the world of Raider. Teams from Washington, New York, Missouri, Texas, Michigan, Kansas and throughout the east and midwest annually make the trek to attend.

Cedar Shoals High School Army JROTC has partnered with National Event Manager Sports Network International, Inc. of Daytona Beach, Florida to assist in the event set-up and other local event details. Additionally, several individuals with decades of Raider experience plan to be heavily involved to ensure all rules and regulations are followed to the letter. We look forward to working with this an even closer relationship between our two entities in the future. This partnership will help to make the event larger and even more special in the future.

SNI would like to thank the many schools that have expressed an interest and also those who have taken the challenge and been a part of the "Raider Nationals". The competition is very strong every year with dozens of amazingly talented schools and scores of new raider teams looking to make history at this event. It is always a great experience, on and off the course. Here's wishing all units another successful and safe year!
