Founded in 1976 • Serving over 10,000 cadets annually • Headquartered in Ormond Beach, Florida
Sports Network International was founded in 1976 in Cocoa Beach, Florida, by Jean Weil and Kip Horton, originally formed to host youth football bowl games.
SNI was approached by a youth football coach who also was involved with a Junior ROTC program, with the suggestion that SNI would be a great company to host a national level competition. In 1982, the first National High School Drill Team Championships was held in Orlando, Florida with less than 20 schools.
Over the decades, SNI evolved into the nation's premier organizer of military Junior ROTC drill and ceremony competitions, and has expanded to Raider and Fitness competitions as well. SNI currently hosts multiple JROTC service championships in several co-curricular areas which host well over 250-plus schools and 10,000-plus cadets.
Operating out of Ormond Beach, Florida, SNI has established itself as subject matter experts in competition military event designs for Junior ROTC programs from all services.
Our mission extends beyond competition management. We strive to treat participants and their families with respect and care while maintaining the highest standards of excellence in event production and customer service.
Sports Network International is run by a small team that is passionate about quality in all we do, endlessly striving for polished, professional and exciting events. We expand our team during events, with many of our staff having made incredible contributions for decades.
