Linda Moad
After two years working full-time at SNI, Linda recently transitioned back to a support staff role, bringing invaluable institutional knowledge with her. At events, she serves as the ultimate problem solver, providing critical assistance to schools facing challenges. Drawing on decades of executive and accounting experience, Linda also brings precision and meticulous attention to detail to the Scoring Table, making her an indispensable asset to the team.
Tara Longfellow
A former AFJROTC cadet from Lebanon High School in Ohio, Tara understands the competitor experience from the inside out. Since graduating, she has become an integral part of the SNI family, working events and assisting with training at drill camp. Soon she will follow in her father's footsteps by attending the police academy. At events, Tara's versatility shines as she seamlessly handles whatever challenges arise, making her an essential member of the operational team.
Sue Long
The longest-serving member of the SNI event staff, Sue has been an incredible asset for years. During her time managing catering at the Ocean Center, she would consistently take time off to assist with NHSDTC scoring—a testament to her dedication. Her legendary speed and accuracy at score tabulation are unmatched, and her infectious laughter brightens the atmosphere at the Scoring Table, making her both highly skilled and deeply loved by the team.
Aimee Long
For many years, Aimee has been instrumental in ensuring the NHSDTC scoring process runs with flawless precision. Currently managing catering for the Ocean Center, she still dedicates time every year to SNI, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to excellence. As the leader of the Scoring Head Table where all scoresheets are initially processed, Aimee's expertise and attention to detail set the standard for accuracy that defines SNI competitions.
Kris Longfellow
A career registered nurse, Kris discovered her passion for SNI at the Air Force Nationals in Dayton, Ohio, and has been an integral part of the team ever since. She brings her healthcare expertise to every event, serving as our trusted onsite medical professional while simultaneously managing registration and overseeing the Scoring Head Table. Kris's unique ability to balance multiple critical roles makes her an invaluable member of the SNI family.
Leighton Gates
One of the newest members of the SNI team, Leighton brings extensive experience in logistics management that elevates every aspect of our operations. As a Registration Specialist, she ensures seamless check-in processes, while her refined touch transforms our Hospitality areas into welcoming spaces. With her discerning eye for detail and systematic approach, Leighton expertly manages the complex logistics that keep SNI events running flawlessly.
John Ladd
A former executive chef from Chicago who traded city winters for Florida sunshine, John has been a cornerstone of SNI for 27 years. His warm presence at the information desk welcomes attendees to the NHSDTC each year, where his encyclopedic knowledge and genuine care help answer countless questions. John's nearly three decades of experience have made him a tremendous resource in the SNI family.
Teresa Betz
A long-time Washington DC area resident, Teresa has been an essential pillar of the SNI team for decades. Drawing on her extensive background in finance and business administration, she brings calm focus to the most pressure-filled moments of score tabulation and awards preparation. When challenges arise and tensions mount, Teresa's unflappable presence and meticulous work provide the stability that keeps everything on track.
Charles Nelson
A contractor specializing in military simulator installation and technical support nationwide, Charles has been SNI's ultimate jack-of-all-trades for over two decades. From managing event set-up and breakdown to overseeing Package Check-Out and serving as a Fitness event Supervisor, his versatility and technical expertise are invaluable. Charles's ability to seamlessly tackle any challenge makes him an essential cornerstone of the SNI team.
Josie Barilla
A beloved fixture at The Nationals, Josie brings grace and compassion honed through her careers as a ballet dancer and healthcare professional. Long-time attendees know her not only for her precision and dedication at the Scoring Table, but for her extraordinary kindness that brightens every interaction. Stacey Kircher
Known as "Chase" to her friends, Stacey is a practicing attorney who became part of the SNI family over a decade ago. Managing the photo room with meticulous care and the organizational prowess honed in the courtroom, Stacey orchestrates the complex workflow of capturing hundreds of teams throughout competition weekend. Her dedication ensures that every team's photo is captured and preserved perfectly, creating priceless memories that last a lifetime.
Jared Gates

A former full-time SNI staff member who transitioned to focus on raising her family, Jennifer has remained deeply committed to the organization for 25 years. Manage on-site logistics, venue setup, and competition flow. They work tirelessly to ensure every event runs smoothly from registration to awards ceremonies.
Handle participant registration, check-in processes, and provide support to instructors & competitors throughout the competition weekend.
Manage scoring systems and computer network along with all audio/visual needs to ensure accurate and professional competition management.

Manage structure of competition, write SOP & manage SOP updates, oversee training and assignments of all judges.

Handle all scoresheet management, paperwork tracking, database scoring with multiple layers of validation before results are finalized and reports are prepared for awards and distribution.
