Samantha SteClaire
CEO & Camp Director
Samantha brings extensive experience to her role as Camp Director, having managed events at SNI since 1982. With her guidance, SNI has grown over time to be the standard bearer for Junior ROTC events across the nation.
Her philosophy has been inspired by the best and brightest instructors & cadets she has met over the years. She strives to make every event a showcase for schools, worthy of the time and dedication they put into their programs. She is committed to preserving the traditions that make SNI events special while embracing innovations that enhance the participant experience.
As a mother herself, Samantha understands the trust parents place in SNI when they send their cadets to camp. She treats every participant as if they were her own child, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment where young people can grow in confidence and skill. The Nationals Drill Camp holds a special place in her heart—watching cadets arrive nervous and leave as accomplished drill performers never gets old. She believes this camp changes lives, builds character, and creates memories that last a lifetime.
Brie Gates
Camp Supervisor
Brie joined SNI's team in 2023 and has quickly become a key part of our success. She has taken on multiple areas of SNI Operations to include contracts, digital timing, work orders and all areas of event hospitality.
As the Camp Supervisor, Brie ensures that operations run smoothly, answering any questions cadets may have from the registration process all the way through the completion of camp.
As a former student athlete who attended numerous sports camps throughout her youth, Brie understands firsthand the impact that a well-run camp can have on a young person's development. Those experiences taught her discipline, teamwork, and perseverance—lessons she carries with her today. She is passionate about creating the same safe, supportive, and meaningful experience for every cadet who walks through our doors, knowing that the memories and skills they gain here will stay with them long after camp ends.
